Well, with some questions about ABFTP I figured I answer some. No, Chuck wasn't tranqed. Combination of flu, exhaustion and severe dehydration. He'll wake up in the hospital after fainting at the Buymore. Ellie will, of course, be concerned. She'll recognize Sarah and ask how's she's been and about the hair color...I'm figuring on a coffee conversation, Sarah talking about the time she'd 'wasted' on her ex and their attempt at saving their relationship which ended with him cheating. Ellie will talk about getting married, moving out and her lack of joy when Chuck picked Morgan for a roommate. Sarah will ask about Chuck's love life' and Ellie will talk about his lack of one despite all of her attempts to set him up with friends from the hospital. She'll also talk about Sam and how she never thought that she was ever really into Chuck.
Once awake, Chuck will find Sarah sitting at his bedside and he'll immediately apologize about being such a 'douche' and then ask how she'd been...chit chat will ensue...Ellie shows up ti discharge Chuck and Sarah volunteers to drive Chuck home. Chuck will be a little distant and say thanks once he's out of the car and walk away. Sarah asks if it's ok if she visits later and he'll say ok.
Now, Sarah's hair color...changed for her last mission. Probably will be changed back. In the last fourteen months, Fulcrum has been gaining strength. The intersect wasn't removed, Zarnow just suppressed it. He is a Fulcrum stooge and he's been trying to figure out who patient X was for the last fourteen months. Chuck has been 'watched' by the powers that be since his 'cure'. Larkin actually sent the intersect to two places...Chuck and a secure 'storage site' that he'd set up. Fulcrum didn't have him on ice...Beckman did, going behind graham's back. So, we'll get to see the intersect 1.0 in a real spy. Bryce gets the upload and can use it but doesn't have the ability to make the intuitive leaps that Chuck demonstrated when he used the intersect. Still working some details out on that. Casey's been in Afganistan with his old team. he'll be back.
I plan to have Sarah attempt to 'nurse' Chuck back to health. He's unsure of her intentions. He turned down a second job offer. Turns down a dinner offer and Sarah makes some offhand remark about her belief that he liked brunettes so what's the problem. Chuck will correct her, saying it's not haircolor that attracts him, leaving Sarah confused about his apparent lack of interest.
Beckman will be pushing Sarah to get Chuck on board using whatever method she has to leaving her not happy with the implications.
Sam, Chuck's ex part time girlfriend...CIA, part of the 'watchers' and she left when Sarah was re-assigned to project Bartowski. Chuck's eventual discovery of the 'watchers' and Sam part will not make him happy.
More to come as the ideas appear. Trust me, I've gone back and re-read some of my original chapter outlines for older stuff and sometimes my ideas are shelved, lost, scrapped, changed or found to be lacking as I'm in the middle of pounding out a chapter. Some of my stuff actually feels like it's writing itself as I go along...and that can be a weird feeling.
Well, enough of the mid-day ramble...customers have decided that they want to spend money and, believe it or not, they want me to participate. Gotta go. JT
What's up with everyone suddenly deciding to use Sarah as a honeytrap? I wanted to be original but now when my story hits, it'll be all contrived :(
ReplyDeleteStill seems like an interesting premise. I'll be following along.
